40年代末期成立于纽约中城，一直到50年代、60年代及70年代都在市场中扮演举足轻重的角色。Tart Optical提供具有设计感且高品质的镜框给消费者、政府机构、军方以及医疗机构。其产品均用心于细节之上秉持高规格的手工制作。70年代眼镜开始走向大量制造的生产模式、Tart Optical被迫结束。但是在停止营运后，Tart反倒成为美国眼镜的传奇品牌，不管是在古董框市场或是现在的时尚秀场都会发现Tart的产品有着浓厚老美式气息，带有着强悍、绅士、灵敏的造型，Tart镜框每个角度拥有者的存在感。终于，沉睡的巨人苏醒了，Tart Optical于2011年秋天重返眼镜市场。Tart Optical 的复出，不仅仅是老Tart迷的福音，亦期盼能让更多的消费者感受Tart Optical 的经典品味。
